PERFORMING ARTS CAMP FOR
BRITISH SECTION STUDENTS
Objective: To create a full scale
musical theatre production in 5 days!
Beauville Arts SARL, established in 2002, has been running performing
arts courses for school groups and individuals for the past
10 years. A variety of performing arts courses are offered during
school holidays which attract large numbers of students from
across Europe and beyond.
Two weeks, during the Toussaint and Spring holidays are now
being offered exclusively to British Section students who wish
to extend their knowledge and experience of the performing arts.
The students (maximum 39 per week) will be divided into 3 workshop
groups and will each day rotate between workshops in Dance,
Music/Theatre and Craft/Set Design with an ensemble rehearsal
concluding daily activities. Beauville Arts operates on an ‘everyone
does everything’ basis and requests only enthusiasm and
commitment from its students. There will be approximately 6
hours of rehearsals per day as well as leisure time when activities
will be offered by our animateurs. The week will conclude with
a public performance in Beauville on the Friday evening which
will then be repeated to parents in Paris.
Students will be accommodated in fixed tents with bathroom
facilities (5 to 6 students per tent) on a privately owned campsite
‘Camping Les 2 Lacs’, Beauville. This is within
walking distance of our rehearsal and performance venues in
Please note that there is a very poor to non-existant mobile
phone signal at the campsite; the best time for students to
contact parents is over lunchtime from the rehearsal venue.
Beauville Arts will take charge of students at Paris Montparnasse
Station, travel being including in the course fee.
The shows proposed are:
Toussaint: ‘Romeo & Juliet’
An original adaptation of the classic Shakespearean tale with
a very modern take featuring numbers from artists as diverse
as Eminem, Queen and Des’ree.
A classic piece of musical theatre featuring all the favourite
song and dance numbers.
The courses are declared to and regulated by the French ministry
‘de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohesion sociale’
and all staff are police checked. For further information on
Beauville Arts please see our website www.beauvillearts.com.
We look forward to welcoming your son or daughter
