The Performing Arts Summer School is open to anyone with a fluency in the English Language and a love of the Performing Arts, aged between 8 and 18 years. There are also places available for French speaking students who wish to develop their knowledge of English.
In just one week a full-scale musical production will be prepared. Students will be expected to encourage and inspire one another in a positive yet challenging environment based upon teamwork, commitment and shared goals. Students will be split into groups to receive intensive instruction from fully qualified and experienced teachers specialised in Music, Drama, Dance and Set Design culminating in a public performance of the musical production on the Friday evening of each week. There will also be opportunities for sporting and leisure activities organised by the animateurs.

tents of 8 or 12 at Les-2-Lacs, a family run campsite situated in
a beautiful valley with two lakes, some 500 metres outside of Beauville.
Covering some 22 hectares, the site offers sports and games such as
volleyball, tennis, table tennis, table football, a swimming lake
with full time lifeguard, as well as the opportunity for boating.

The village boulangerie delivers fresh bread to the campsite each morning and breakfast will be taken at the site.
Lunch is normally taken at the Salle des Fêtes and prepared by our activity co-ordinators.
Three course evening meals are provided at a variety of locations throughout the week including Les-2-Lacs restaurant, the village restaurant 'Le Midi', and Beauville Arts Head Office, L'Ancien Presbytère.
The Director of the course is Jonathan Mallalieu MA(Oxon), PGCE. He has had a distiguished career in the world of Performing Arts and has held the post of Director of Music in several schools within both the UK and International sectors. He has extensive experience as a Theatrical Director, having produced shows such as Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Oliver, Our Day Out, The Insect Play, Grease, West Side Story, Bugsy Malone and Moulin Rouge. Jonathan has also written several musicals. He is now a reelance composer and musician and a Director of Beauville Arts.

Beauville, Lot-et-Garonne (47) lies between Toulouse and Bordeaux in South West France, the nearest city being Agen, some 20 minutes drive to the south west. The City of Cahors lies some 45 minutes to the east/north-east and the historic town of Moissac some 30 minutes to the south-east.
Beauville, comprising a resident population of some 570, heads a rural Canton of some 3000. These numbers are substantially augmented during the peak tourist season. It supports a lively, predominantly agricultural, community and provides all necessary services including a doctors, pharmacy, local supermarket, post office, tourist office, bank, café, restaurant and boulangerie.

Agen has a major SNCF Railway station. Direct trains arrive regularly from most major French cities i.e. Paris (4hrs), Toulouse (1hr) and Bordeaux (1.5 hrs).
For students brought by car, Beauville
lies some 25 minutes off the A62 (Junction 9 if coming from Toulouse/Junction
7 from Bordeaux).
