Photos of Cubertou 2011

The Wind Chamber Music course is designed for advanced players and college students who wish to extend their knowledge and experience of the Chamber repertoire, as well as enjoy the food, wine and beautiful countryside of South West France.

Wind Chamber Music is the focus of the week. Participants have the chance to perform standard repertoire as well as lesser known works for a diverse combination of instruments. Laurence Perkins administers a vast library of music which caters for all standards and musical tastes. The days are structured to allow participants full access to chamber groups directed by our tutors, masterclasses and recitals, as well as allowing time for personal practice and of course relaxation. The Wind Chamber Music is a fully inclusive residential course. Prices include accommodation, food and wine, as well as expert tuition from a team of top class performers.

"Cubertou" is a self-contained house and all meals are provided there, including a three course gourmet meal with wine each evening. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and ideal for walks and even open air practising! For more information on the house itself and the local area please visit www.cubertou.com

Highlights of the week include quartets in the bamboo grove, reedmaking in the woods, winetasting and a public concert at the end of the week. In 2010 this took place at the prestigious 'Chateau de Bonaguil', a top tourist attraction and historic monument
