The Performing Arts Summer School is open to anyone with a fluency in the English Language and a love of the Performing Arts, aged between 8 and 18 years. There are also places available for French speaking students who wish to develop their knowledge of English.

In just six days a full-scale musical production will be prepared. Students will be expected to encourage and inspire one another in a positive yet challenging environment based upon teamwork, commitment and shared goals. Students will be split into groups to receive intensive instruction from fully qualified and experienced teachers specialised in Music, Drama, Dance and Craft culminating in a public performance of the musical production on the Friday evening of each week. There will also be opportunities for sporting and leisure activities organised by our activity coordinators.

The Venue

The rehearsals and shows will all take place at the Centre International de Valbonne (CIV). This large American style campus in a forest setting is situated at the heart of the Sophia Antipolis 'Technopole' just a few kilometres from Antibes, Mougins & Cannes and the centre is easily accessible from Nice whose international airport lies some 20km to the east.

Reherasals will start each day at 09h30* and finish at 18h30.

N.B. Rehearsals will start at 10h30 on the first day (Sunday) of each course

There will be two workshops in the morning session, followed by lunch. In the early afternooon the will be activities and the chance to use the sporting facilities and swimming pool at CIV and then two further rehearsals. Please note that all day-students should bring a packed lunch each day, although drinks and snacks will be provided during rehearsal breaks.
(*Rehearsals begin at 09h30, however students can be dropped off at CIV from 08h30 onwards to allow parents to get to work. Day students must be picked up promptly at 18h30)
